Roni DeLuz is a traditional naturopathic doctor. A graduate of the
Clayton School of Natural Healing and the American Holistic College of
Nutrition, she completed her doctorate in natural health. Roni is also
a registered nurse and colonic therapist who has been a healing professional
for 20 years. Originally from Connecticut, she graduated from Fairfield University
with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her experience includes five years
at Yale New Haven Hospital specializing in rare syndromes and one and a
half years as Director Nursing at Regis Multi-Health Center. She has recently
been certified as a Hypnotherapist by the American Institute of Hypnotherapy.
In California in 1980, Roni founded Singh Care Homes, Inc., a provider
of long term care facilities for children and adults. In the course of her work she set up special
programs for those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, digestive disorders,
weight problems, and special therapeutic programs for debilitated children
and adults.
On Martha's Vineyard in 1996, Roni started developing and teaching Holistic
Individual Plans for clients with chronic health concerns. Soon after,
in the summer of 1997 she founded and opened the Martha's Vineyard Holistic
Retreat, offering retreat packages for individuals or groups who want to experience a peaceful natural
healing environment that address the mind, body and spirit.
She travels across the country giving lectures on life style changes
and works closely with a Wellness Center in California. As she values all
branches of health oriented sciences she readily refers to and works with
other holistic services such as yoga, acupuncture, chiropractic, Reiki,
massage, energy and physical therapy.
She is a member of the Coalition for Natural Health, American Naturopathic
Medical Association, International Association for Colon Therapy and American
Association of Drugless Practitioner
