What is Energy Healing?

Energy healing is one of the most profound and fundamental alternative therapies in the field of alternative medicine and holistic health. It employs spiritual healing methods to channel healing in the patient’s energy field (aura and chakra system)—helping the patient break free from afflictions and limitations of body, mind and spirit. It may also provide enhanced quality of life for the patient, and facilitate spiritual growth.

What happens in an Energy Healing Session?

Energy! It's all around us.  We are all made of it. When there is low energy we want to change it and when it's high energy we want to enjoy it.  When we change energy things happen. Happiness is easier, relationships change, understanding is clearer, we feel better, money flows, disease and injury disappear, and our spiritual acuity is elevated.  During a healing session weaknesses in the patient’s energy field are located and strengthened.

Natalie Ellen Dickerson

Natalie has been working with energy for more than 30 years. Her openness to other levels of conscientious began at an early age. Always comfortable with the comprehension that everything "real" is not always visible, she has dedicated herself to understanding and communicating within this realm.  She has always believed that her life’s journey would lead her to helping people.

Natalie layers several types of energy that work synergistically to provide a vehicle that enters the body to heal the physical, emotional or mental being.  Relaxation is the first step of the process that relieves stress and enables the body to accept the healing benefits of the energy where it is needed.

Although there are a few positions in which the practitioner is in contact with the patient (such as cradling the head), most treatments do not involve actual touching.  Natalie acts as the conduit for the free flow of energy to the client; fully clothed and laying comfortably energy flows through the client’s body.  As the session progresses, many people fall asleep. Some, as their bodies release or process out pain, memories and stress, may begin to laugh or cry.  Others might even experience sensations in those areas of their body where energy is stuck.

At the end of the session patient are encouraged to raise slowly in order to let their bodies become comfortable with the clearer energy flow. Most clients have a wonderful night’s sleep the evening after the session.

Reiki

Reiki was introduced to the Western world in the mid-1970s; however, it is believed to have begun in Tibet several thousand years ago. Reiki practitioners channel energy to heal and harmonize.  Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, destroys energy blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy, and increases the vibrational frequency of the body.  Reiki is useful in treating serious illnesses as well as sports injuries, cuts, burns, internal diseases, emotional disorders, and stress-related illnesses.  Reiki’s energy works on the whole person and not just a symptom.

Karuna Ki

Karuna Ki has its roots in the words Karuna, which mean "compassion of the heart, compassion of action, universal compassion" and Ki, which stems from the word "Chi" meaning Universal Source Energy.  Karuna Ki is a term that is now used to refers to a growing number of practices using the reiki energy with the Karuna symbols.  It could be said that any Reiki is Karuna in that in doing Reiki we are trying to alleviate the suffering of all sentient beings. Karuna Ki is a focused way of practicing this.  Karuna Ki is the Way of Compassionate Energy. Karuna Ki is a Healing and Meditative practice using the Karuna Ki energy and symbols to be the Divine Heart of Compassion. Karuna Ki energy can help heal the unconscious mind and Karma issues.

Testimonial of a Client

"I was in serious automobile accident 3 years ago that left me with severe nerve damage in my (right/left/both) arm. I could not use my arm, which was cold to the touch …. After my first session with Natalie, I experienced warmth for the first time, since my accident. My husband even noticed the change.  Every session with Natalie has improved the feeling in my arm and I no longer feel as depressed."
